The Collateral technology team under Global Markets Technology & Operations provides end-to-end technology solutions for Collateral processes spanning multiple products spanning listed and OTC transactions .The team supports the entire lifecycle of collateral management i.e - Margin calculation, Pledge management, settlement, ,custodian interactions ,optimisation, dispute resolution
The role in question is for a developer in Graphene application which is a key part of the strategic margin call process. The application supports multiple complex margin call computation methodologies across Regulatory and non-regulatory flows. It is a critical part of the bank’s Uncleared Margin Rule (UMR) compliance and collateral OPEX initiative.
The candidate is responsible for developing / enhancing components on the Python /Quartz stack for Collateral business, supporting multiple critical Regulatory and Opex initiatives. Work in an agile model with onshore and offshore partners across business and technology to design, develop, document and test solutions. The ideal candidate must be well versed or evidence ability to rapidly learn python, object oriented analysis and design, global markets/collateral business. The candidate must work independently, be highly self-motivated with strong communicating skills, critical thinking and must have 7 to 10 years of experience.
