Bank of America´s comprehensive Life Management programs are designed to assist employees with many of life's challenges and opportunities:
Adoption Reimbursement
Reimburses up to $8,000 per adopted child upon legal adoption for eligible employees.
Child Care Plus®
Eligible employees can enroll in Child Care Plus, which helps pay for child care expenses incurred while working. Eligible employees can receive up to $240 per month, per child under 5 years of age or up to $205 per month, per child age 5 to under age 13 (under 21, if incapable of self-care). Care can be provided through a licensed facility (like a child care center) or an informal type of care (like a babysitter).
Tuition Reimbursement
The bank reimburses eligible employees up to $5,250 for job-related courses or to fulfill a job-related degree program.
LifeCare®
A free, confidential resource and referral program offering practical advice and support to help employees and their families manage work and personal responsibilities, including financial and parenting advice and help finding child- and elder-care resources.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
A voluntary, confidential service to help employees and their family deal with family problems, job-related issues, stress and other situations.
Bank of America offers multiple ways for employees and managers to define when and where employees work, including flex-time, telecommuting, compressed work schedules and job sharing. With the My Work® program, employees have the opportunity to work from a variety of corporate bank locations or from home instead of a traditional, dedicated cube or office.
Auto and Home Insurance
Provides employees with special group rates on a variety of insurance policies, including those for homes, condominiums, autos, recreational vehicles and rental homes.
Commuter Benefit Program
Enables employees to pay for eligible work-related commuting expenses, like mass transit or parking, with pretax dollars (up to the IRS limit). Parking expenses eligible in all areas except the state of Washington.
Offers employees a range of paid and unpaid leave options for taking the time they need away from work for vacation, health and family issues, and a range of other personal needs.
