Medical
Bank of America offers medical plans that are easy to understand, deliver valuable features and help you manage rising health care costs. Employees have the option to select from the Aetna Comprehensive Traditional Plan or the Aetna Comprehensive High Deductible Plan. Both plans provide coverage for eligible medical services (such as doctor's office visits, specialist care or a hospital stay), prescription drugs, mental health and substance abuse.
Dental
Bank of America offers two dental plan options that provide coverage for preventive and restorative dental care: the Aetna Dental Preferred Provider Organization (Aetna Dental PPO) Plan, and the Aetna Dental Maintenance Organization (Aetna DMO) Plan for employees in eligible locations.
Vision
Employees can elect the Aetna Vision Plan, which provides coverage for eye exams, eyeglass lenses and frames, contact lenses and LASIK surgery. Depending on your needs, the Aetna Vision Discount Program may be an alternative to electing vision coverage. This program offers discounts on routine eye exams, eyeglasses, LASIK surgery, contact lenses, nonprescription sunglasses, contact lens solutions and other eye care accessories. All benefits-eligible employees have access to this plan.
Health & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts
These accounts help employees lower their taxable income and pay for eligible health and dependent care expenses using pretax dollars.
Associate Basic Life Insurance
Employees are automatically provided with basic life insurance equal to one times their annual base salary. Additional supplemental life insurance can be purchased up to eight times the sum of an employee's annual pay + bonus.
Supplemental Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
Employees may purchase supplemental life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance for themselves, their spouse/domestic partner and their children up to eight times the sum of their annual pay plus eligible bonus amount. AD&D insurance pays a benefit if an employee (or a covered family member) becomes paralyzed, dismembered or dies as the result of an accident.
Business Travel Accident Insurance
Provides 24-hour coverage while traveling for Bank of America anywhere in the world (excludes everyday commuting).
