Job Description:

Works with project teams to ensure overall software quality is monitored and maintained and/or validates system QA standards necessary to execute test plans and procedures for acceptance testing of new or modified applications/systems. Has some interaction with business area execs, vendors and operations execs in determining whether systems and system components, including hardware, networks, system software, tools, and applications are appropriate and/or ready for implementation. Fosters stable support framework for development teams and business units in the area of quality control and the development of new or revised applications. May provide guidance in the creation of standard test environments, tests plans, and test scripts. Analyzes, designs, documents new or modified QA procedures and standards and assists in the development and implementation of QA metrics for assessing the quality of delivered applications and information systems. Provide resolution to an assortment of problems complex in scope, related to Quality Assurance projects. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience. This job code is only to be used for associates supporting Capital Markets.

Individual will be an Automation Lead as part of the Finance Technology QA team. 

Individual would:

  • Work closely with Development team/Business project lead/Production Support teams to understand project requirements for testing
  • Review BRDs, Fspecs, and Tspecs, stories and convert into testable scenarios and scripts
  • Responsible for creating Automation Test Strategy document(s), Test Plan(s), Testing Tracker(s), Test Execution Status Reports, and Defect Reports
  • Coordinate process team input into testing deliverables
  • Work closely with onshore/ offshore testers to complete assigned deliverable
  • Define framework and set guidelines for the automation development by the team
  • Build reusable scripts and automation framework
  • Responsible for the coordination, documentation, and execution of test scripts
  • Coordinate prioritization of test scripts and defects
  • Ensure testing is on schedule and escalate any issues/concerns
  • Ensure test execution results and defects are captured in test management tool (Jira/ QC)
  • Ensure defects are assigned and being worked on
  • Report test status to leadership and all stakeholders

Required Skills: 

  • Automation experience is must in any automation tools (UFT/TOSCA/Selenium/RPA tools)
  • Experience in designing/creating Automation Framework, Test plan, test cases and engineering best practices related to software test engineering, both manual and automated testing
  • Experience in agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Experience in designing/creating Automation Framework, Test plan, test cases and engineering best practices related to software test engineering, both manual and automated testing
  • Experience in coordinating testing activities and optimizing test cycles working with project team
  • Must have hands on in JIRA & HP ALM tools
  • Ability to perform well in a fast paced diverse environment with structured timelines
