he Cyber Security Technology (CST) function within Global Information Security is responsible for innovation and architecture, engineering, solutions and capabilities development, deployment maintenance and support of information technology security controls. The CST team is also responsible for the management of the program/project management teams.

Back End Developer - Key individual contributor, with accountability for researching, innovating, designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting brand-new information processing capabilities derived from our core technologies (software and hardware). Utilizes in-depth technical knowledge to design and develop innovative solutions to meet a wide range of emerging software technology and business needs and requirements. Develops and implements within security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse environments (e.g. client server, distributed, mainframe, etc.). Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Typically has at least 7-10 years of development experience. Learns quickly, communicates effectively, and evinces a strong track record of innovation. Has demonstrated recent competence in most of the following: Backend database technologies like Oracle/SQL Server, DB Objects like Packages/Procedures, Functions, Packages, Types, Triggers etc. including their reuse, Database management tools like OEM, C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON, MS SQL, MongoDB, MySQL, Neo4j, REST API, GraphQL, ODATA, OpenAPI, HTTP, Entity Framework, LINQ, SOLR, Code Management tools like TFS / JIRA.

The candidate has a strong understanding of database design, knows and comprehends the strengths and weaknesses of the different levels of database normalization/de normalization, knowledge in DB performance improvements like tuning, optimization, partitions with experience in handling high volume of data, has knowledge of some NoSQL technologies and understands the limitations and considerations required to implement hybridized solutions.

Can read and write code fluently in C#. Is able to integrate database, NoSQL, knowledge in migrating one database to another one like Oracle to SQL Server or vice versa. Has advanced understanding of database constraint concepts such as indexes, primary keys, and reading query execution plans. Knowledge on and memory cache solutions into .NET code efficiently. Understands how to troubleshoot database issues, NoSQL issues and any outlier issues with regard to the software written.

Architecturally can define Model-View-Controller patterns along with Model-View-ViewModel architectures. Actual experience surrounding RESTful API integration and creation. Strong knowledge of C#/.NET, IIS Hosting, and relevant compiler optimizations. A perfect candidate will be curious to learn new technologies and patterns as this team considers itself dynamic. Knowledge on IAM domain is a plus.
