Job Description:

The Merrill Lynch Service Network (MLSN) Statement and Tax Reporting team handles inquiries from Client Associates, Financial Advisors and Branch Management regarding the Monthly and Tax Reporting Statements. Support is offered Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm. (EST). In addition to providing service to the branch on tutorial inquiries, we also provide dedicated service to the more complex and sensitive issues.  This network of specialists is available through the 866-MLSERVICE number or the Click to Call channel. The MLSN SQAD/Tax Reporting team lends phone support for several request types such as: cost basis, capital changes, statement audit, client correspondence and statement reconciliations.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides subject knowledge expertise to branch offices on the Merrill Lynch Monthly and Tax Reporting statements through reconciliations, hold-outs, GPA adjustments, and cost basis research
  • Supports email boxes
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and specialty needs
  • Expected to take on any other research and updating needs as call volume increases
  • Support outbound call campaigns
  • Liaison with multiple departments for client centric solutions

Required Skills

  • Customer Service/Financial Industry experience
  • Organized and pro-active
  • Demonstrate a “self-starter” behavior and a willingness to help others
  • Is flexibility and adapts easily to change
  • Good verbal communication skills - ability to interact with various band levels
  • Ability to multi task
  • Call Center experience preferred
  • College degree a plus
