In the US, we seek two types of candidates to advise high-net-worth clients: experienced Financial Advisors and professionals making a career transition.

Experienced Financial Advisors

If you are an experienced Financial Advisor, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management can enhance your career by offering a breadth of products and services unmatched in the industry.

  • Has an established book of business
  • Is independent, exhibits integrity, initiative, strong motivation and attention to detail
  • Has good presentation and communication skills and is a good listener
  • Demonstrates an appropriate level of technical and professional skills and knowledge
  • Recognizes and values individual uniqueness and differences, demonstrates client focus, respect for the individual, teamwork and responsible citizenship
  • Be able to develop internal partnerships and strong links with colleagues in our Global Markets & Investment Banking business giving you the opportunity to better serve your clients

Professionals considering new careers

If you are an experienced professional, attorney, banker, or transitioning from military service and considering a new career in the field of financial services, we provide you with the training and the management resources.

Financial advisors serve in more than 600 offices across the U.S. -- in cities, major metropolitan centers, suburban areas and small towns. We also serve clients in Brazil, Chile and Uruguay with even more Financial Advisors located in U.S. cities covering other Latin American countries.
