Our Business

LaSalle Global Trust Services provides securitization trust and fund administration services to the capital markets through 1,200 associates working in the U.S., Europe and Mexico. LaSalle Global Trust Services is a market leader in the industry. Since it began 15 years ago, LaSalle Global Trust Services has served as trustee, agent and custodian on approximately $2.1 trillion in assets and has been appointed on more than 4,600 securitization transactions. LaSalle Global Trust Services is a subsidiary of Bank of America and is part of the Chief Financial Officer group.


Overview

The LaSalle Global Trust Services Associates Program is a one year development program that prepares associates for a career in the securitization and alternative fund services industry. Associates acquire essential financial and professional skills during rotations through two of the following LaSalle Global Trust Services core product areas; Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities, Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities, Collateralized Debt Obligations and Alternative Funds.

LaSalle Global Trust Services associates will participate in a variety of activities designed to foster learning, teamwork and networking including senior management and subject matter expert speaker events, individual assignments, team competitions and volunteer projects – all designed to provide a challenging and rewarding environment to begin a successful career in financial services.

As a LaSalle Global Trust Services associate, you will have roles that:

  • Develop your knowledge of the capital markets and involved parties - investment banks, asset managers and rating agencies
  • Demand a steep learning curve to master the collateral assets and operational aspects of transactions
  • Require both teamwork and individual initiative to meet daily deliverables and project milestones
  • Build and monitor financial models that track asset and payment cash flows and portfolio compliance
  • Use financial systems to setup, monitor and analyze cash and assets holdings, trade settlement and investor reports
  • Contribute to the design, development and execution of processes or projects

Qualifications

We hire an elite group of associates who have undergraduate degrees in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or Math with a minimum of a 3.0/4.0 grade point average. Strong academics, analytical and technical skills should be accompanied by proficiencies in critical thinking, leadership, business acumen and collaboration. Candidates must be able to work both in teams and independently, with effective time management, communication and business writing skills. Candidates must also be client focused, proactive and demonstrate composure when challenging business situations arise. Basic accounting coursework and MS Excel experience is recommended.


Training and Rotation Assignments

Upon arrival, LaSalle Global Trust Services associates attend two weeks of intense classroom training that includes speakers, workshops, individual assignments, team projects and events – all designed to build the foundational skills required for the program’s rotation assignment responsibilities and expectations. Under the guidance of a rotation manager, each associate will complete two, 6-month rotations from the core product areas of LaSalle Global Trust Services listed below:

  • Collateralized Debt Obligations
  • Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities
  • Residential Mortgage Backed Securities
  • Alternative Funds
