Global Treasury Operations (GTO) supports treasury products and services around the world. We are comprised of 4,700 associates and operate in 25 countries. Our operational teams include International Branch Operations, Payment Process Operations, Trade Operations, Libris, Merchant Services, Staff Support, and Treasury Solutions. Global Treasury Operations is organized into major business units:
Global Risk Operations is responsible for Globalization of risk functions, Risk reporting/best practices of internal control processes, business continuity validation, and integration of BA Merchant Services.
Global Business Support manages all core support functions for Global Treasury Operations. These functions include: Hoshin planning and reporting, management routines, global associate and executive communications, associate engagement programs, associate reward and recognition programs, resource management, and financial management.
Transformation Change Management area is responsible for managing all end to end change within Global Treasury Operations. This scope includes change planning and execution of all strategic initiatives and small work efforts that: Impact people, process, and technology, drives GTO productivity enhancements, and satisfies mandated regulatory/compliance requirements.
International Branch Operations provides a range of treasury products and services that assist corporate treasurers to manage working capital within their organizations in Canada, Mexico, Asia and EMEA.
Merchant Operations: BA Merchant Services offers payment processing to hundreds of thousands of businesses across the country. As a matter of fact, BA Merchant Services process one out of every five MasterCard and Visa transactions in the nation.
Trade Operations provides a range of treasury products and services to clients within the U.S. and Asia. These products and services allow corporate treasurers to manage working capital within their organizations.
Libris encompasses three lines of business that support IRS tax processing, General Lockbox for Federal government agencies, and Specialty processing for high volume customers.
Treasury Solutions provides a range of treasury products and services to clients within the U.S. These products and services allow corporate treasurers to manage working capital within their organizations.
Payment Operations provides a range of treasury products and services that assist corporate treasurers in managing working capital within their organizations in US, Asia and EMEA.
Qualifications
Candidates must be a candidate from a four year college or university and demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, strategic and creative thinking, and distinguished written and oral communication skills. Some common driving characteristics we look for are:

Must be geographically flexible. Summer interns may work in Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Los Angeles, CA; Albany NY; Scranton, PA; Louisville, KY. Potential internships include key product areas (i.e. North America Treasury Operations, Merchant Operations, Global Risk Operations, and key functional areas (i.e. Trade Support, Wire Transfer, Financial Management, Change Management etc.) Throughout the recruiting and summer internship process candidates will have the opportunity to learn about the various Global Treasury functions.
