Organized by industry sector, our Global Investment bankers are dedicated to understanding the unique competitive and operating environments of our clients, and to building strong, enduring client relationships. We are primarily organized into 11 industry/product teams focused on specific sectors. Focus industries are: Consumer & Retail, Financial Institutions, Financial Sponsors, Gaming, Global Industries, Healthcare, Technology, Media & Telecom, Natural Resources, Real Estate, and Transaction Development Group and M&A. Integrated within each industry team are M&A specialists.

Overview
As an active team member in a focused industry or product group, analysts help orchestrate capital raising and strategic advisory transactions.
Analysts are called on to:
Develop and maintain financial models
Support various financial analyses, including valuations and merger consequences
Perform comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
Prepare presentation and other materials for clients
Participate in due diligence sessions
Communicate and interact with deal team members
Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, strategic and creative thinking and distinguished written and oral communications skills. Analysts are required to manage several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team. Some common driving characteristics we look for: assertiveness, attention to detail, dedication to building a career in the investment banking industry, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic, and team focus. Summer offers are made for a specific office based on candidate preference and business need. Industry and product group assignments are made before the summer begins, once a candidate has had the opportunity to learn about each group and meet team members.
Training
The summer program kicks off with an orientation session where you'll learn some Bank of America’s basics: technical skills, our views on the markets and professional practices that will make your summer experience all the more valuable. Training will continue throughout the summer as you participate in presentations and other group and individual projects led by industry experts. Outstanding performers may be considered for a full-time position upon graduation

Analysts will work in New York, Charlotte, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Houston.
