Our Equity Capital Markets team is a fully integrated team of specialists dedicated to helping companies raise capital through equity and equity-linked solutions, including IPOs, follow-ons, bought-deals and convertibles.
Overview
Analysts are active team members in a focused product group and their responsibilities include the following.
Develop and manage financial models
Support and create analyses, including valuations and merger consequences
Perform comprehensive, in-depth company and industry research
Prepare client presentations and other materials
Participate in due diligence sessions and client meetings
Communicate and interact with client team members
Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, strategic and creative thinking and distinguished written and oral communication skills. Summer analysts are required to manage several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team. Some common characteristics needed to be successful: assertiveness, attention to detail, dedication to building a career in the investment banking industry, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic and team focus.
Training
As a summer analyst, you will begin your career at Bank of America with a week-long Training program in New York. Training will continue throughout the summer as you participate in presentations and other group and individual projects led by industry experts. Outstanding performers may be considered for a full-time position upon graduation.
Locations
Summer analysts may work in New York, Charlotte, Chicago and San Francisco. Offers are made for a specific location based on candidate preference and business need. Product group assignments are made before the summer begins, once a candidate has had the opportunity to learn about each group and its team members.
