Corporate Debt Products Summer Analyst Program

Our Business

Corporate Debt Products is responsible for managing the Global Corporate Investment Bank's loan and trading portfolios, which includes underwriting, managing and monitoring the credit, market and operational risks within those client relationships. Corporate Debt Products employs a variety of fundamental and technical risk management tools to support Bank of America’s commitment to maintaining acceptable levels of credit and trading loss volatility. Corporate Debt Products Managers work within the following industry groups: Consumer & Retail, Insurance, Gaming, General Industrials, Healthcare, Media & Telecom, Natural Resources, Real Estate, Financial Sponsors, Sports, Restaurants, and Technology.


Overview

Corporate Debt Products Analyst Interns perform intensive qualitative and quantitative due diligence on industry and company factors. Interns are called on to:

  • Participate in the structuring, underwriting and documentation of syndicated credit facilities designed to meet both client and investor needs
  • Research, write and present financial and industry analyses in support of company specific and portfolio level decisions
  • Evaluate transaction and relationship risk-adjusted profitability to facilitate the allocation of capital
  • Monitor all elements of the bank’s credit exposure to its clients across its international network, including periodically reassessing internally assigned risk ratings
  • Manage credit exposure associated with the bank’s broad range of Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, and Treasury Management products

Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate a strong combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, teamwork, and initiative. Some common driving characteristics we look for:
