Developing solutions for social and environmental challenges is at the core of Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy in Asia Pacific. These solutions drive our revenue growth and simultaneously build strong, healthy economies. By engaging our clients, employees, shareholders and communities, together we are working to build a more robust future in the region in which to do business. We are thought leaders, harnessing our intellectual capital, sharing knowledge and developing innovative solutions. Our CSR platform focuses on: responsible business practices, environmental sustainability, investing in helping local communities advance through programs that support disadvantaged women and children, global leadership development and promoting cultural understanding.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch will award charitable grants to 56 organizations in Asia Pacific in 2013. The organizations will run programs that focus on areas that are important to us: leadership development, financial literacy, education, community development and critical needs.

Investing and making our communities better is integral to who we stand for as a firm. Through partnerships and volunteering with the organizations, we help communities thrive and contribute to the long-term success of our business.
