No. Resumes are only accepted online.

Can I submit my information without applying for a position?

Yes. You are not required to apply for a specific position. If you don't find an opportunity that you are interested in, you can submit your profile only by logging in and using our Candidate Profiler. If you choose to apply later, your profile information will be saved.

What are the basic requirements for becoming an associate for Bank of America other than the job related qualifications listed in the posting?

You must be willing to:

  • Submit authorized documents within three days from the start of employment as proof of authorization to be employed in the United States.
  • Be fingerprinted if requested by Bank of America or as required by applicable law, for purposes of conducting a criminal background check.
  • Undergo a screening for illegal drugs prior to or during my employment with the Company if requested or as legally required.

You are most likely to receive a response and/or advance through the process if the position to which you apply closely matches your skills and background. If you are not contacted by a Recruiter, please continue to visit our site to search for new available opportunities.

How could I be notified if there are new positions that fit my skill set?

Within your Candidate Profile you can designate your "Job Preferences" included are your preferred job Location(s) as well as other specifications. After choosing your preferences, you must activate the checkbox indicating that you would like to receive notifications. If a newly posted position matches your designated preferences, you will be notified via email.

Does Bank of America have a policy on hiring relatives of current associates?

We do not have a written policy concerning hiring family members, relatives and close friends of current employees or the Corporate Board of Directors. We review each situation on an individual basis.

Do I have to attend a school full-time to attend a school event?

No, however most career centers require students, who participate in on-campus events, to be currently enrolled or alumni who have graduated within the last 12 months.

What if my school isn't listed, can I attend any event?

Unfortunately, no. Most career centers require students who participate in on-campus activities and events to be enrolled as a student. We recommend that you review our college recruiting page to apply for employment opportunities.

Do I get one-on-one time with a Bank of America recruiter at events?

Yes, but in some cases that time depends on the type of event. Some events have limited time for one-on-one interaction because of the size and scope.

This may be the result of too many programs running at the same time. We recommend you close all of your internet web browser windows and any other applications you may have open and restart your computer.
